Bonsoir

Pretty roses, note the dust on the leaves, it's dry here and there is a lot of sandy dirt on the garden paths.

Bateaux on the River Seine
Bought these chocolates in a shop the same as one we went into in Annecy on our last trip. The packaging and the chocloate is always really nice. These chocs look like olives but are chocolate and have almond nuts in them.
This is how furniture etc is put in to apartments, on an outside lift on a ladder type set up. (double click so you can see it)
The back view of Notre Dame
Just had to put this pic up as this Florist shop was so pretty. (Click for a close up.)
This was taken at 9.30 p.m in Paris.....it's still light. It's actually light as I post this and it's 10 to 10p.m.
Bonsoir........have just finished tea and it is still light at 9.30p.m, great for tourists!
The way this was set out was really well done, it was woven towards the 1500s' that is so old!!!! it's called The lady with the Unicorn  (double click on this one)
Went to the Musee  National du Moyen Age today where the famous tapestry with a unicorn in it resides. It was quite spectacular to see and I'm not really into tapestry that much. It was lit very dimmly and flash photography was out so the pic isn't that good but you'll get an idea of what it was like. I have added some other pics that I hope you find interesting.

  1. Hi Trace very informative post today, a bit of everything in this one.......Was amazed to see how they get the furniture to there apartments, very interesting. I also notice not many flower boxes on the balconies though. But the florist shop was pretty.

I just love the snapshot of the building Stephen is standing in fronton, just pretty.

I can't wait to see Paris.....just so pretty.

What a great holiday you are having & lots of lovely pics.
